Classes

YogaShoot-2-7100-DSC_0210Classes are mixed ability Hatha (classical) yoga and adult classes are suitable for anyone over 16 who is new to yoga and also for more experienced students.  Classes involve a combination of held (static) postures and dynamic (or moving) postures and sequences and I include modifications and adaptations to ensure everyone can participate fully and enjoy themselves. All classes involve a warm up period before moving into key postures, and then conclude with closing postures, breathing exercises (pranayama) and a final relaxation. There is a maximum of 14 students in each class to ensure everyone feels fully included.

Everyone comes to yoga with different physical and emotional needs and expectations. I ask all new students to complete a confidential health questionnaire so I can ensure your yoga practice is safe, fulfilling and fun.

Monday – Stockleigh Pomeroy Village Hall, 10am – 11.30am 

Monday – Shobrooke Village Hall, 7.30pm – 9pm

Tuesday – Shobrooke Village Hall, 10am – 11.30am 

Thursday – Shobrooke Village Hall, 7.30pm – 9pm

What to Wear –  loose comfortable clothing (tracksuit bottoms, leggings, t-shirt etc) and be ready to practise in bare feet.

What to Bring – a non slip mat and a blanket for the relaxation (a mat can be borrowed by prior arrangement).

Fees –  Adult students enrol for classes in half termly blocks and fees are payable in advance, enrolled students pay £7 per 90 minute class ie. a 6 week half term is £42. New students are welcome to attend a trial classes and pay as a one off before deciding whether or not to enrol, a trial class is £7.50.  Please note that enrolled places are non transferable.

One to one Sessions and Tailormade Workshops are also available.
